We prepare young people for careers in fire and emergency medical services.
During the 5 month program, students are paid a stipend as they receive life coaching from trained professionals, mentorship from Oxnard Fire Fighters and Paramedics, and EMT training from Oxnard Fire Department.
The program experience combines:
Curriculum designed around students' skills and abilities
Supports students' need to succeed
Assistance finding jobs after they graduate
Applicants should be aged 18 to 26, live in the state of California and have a high school diploma or GED.

Since 2011, EMS Corps has trained hundreds of young people for careers in emergency medical services who have gone on to become paramedics, nurses, fire fighters, police officers, and doctors.
